Welcome to the world of Araya
Remember when you had your first BMX.. Chances are that the rims on its wheels were made by Araya. The first time that dazzling anodized colours were used on bicycles to such great effect. First of all there were 7C, then 7X and finally Aero's. The legendary quality of the manufacturing made them the default rim for any serious BMXer.
These were followed by Mountain Bike rims of all shapes & sizes for XC, Freeride, Downhill and Trials and finally a range of Road rims for all purposes from Time Trialing to Cyclo Cross to Triathlon.
Well you will be pleased to know that the name Araya is back with a vengeance starting with a range of superb quality nipples and spokes which will shortly be followed by some carefully developed rim sections.
Top quality alloy nipples in a selection of bright anodized colours and in three lengths 12mm, 14mm and 16mm. These are already creating a stir amongst wheel builders for the quality and value for money.
Stainless Steel double butted and plain gauge spokes in all lengths for BMX right up to Road racing sizes and soon to be followed by Sandvik Titanium.
Powder coat colours or ED plated colours completes the picture.
So keep watching as we announce all sorts of new developments in this exciting brand.

This is just a note of explanation about our products. Araya was and still is a Japanese company making rims. They basically abandoned the European market around fifteen to twenty years ago. We re-established the brand in Europe in 2008. We use various manufacturers to produce our own spokes, nipples and rims. Everything is made to the highest quality and we aim to maintain the reputation built originally by Araya. Our alloy anodised nipples and stainless steel spokes in plain gauge or double butted have been sold for seven years and are universally acknowledged as some of the best quality and value products on the market.
We are now carefully developing a range of rims in all modern styles and sizes. Our Abyss deep section welded 700c rim is a joy to behold. Our new Strongbox Welded BMX rim is setting new standards in strength and value and the Pro Class BMX rims are evoking the original Mongoose rim of the 1980's, whilst manufacturing in a 21st century double skin giving remarkable lightness and rigidity. Our Six50, 29 ER and 29Lite rims are now making inroads into the modern Mountain Bike Market. Our co-operation with Tensile who make tremendous, high quality hubs, has now seen the introduction of some stunning wheel sets and this will continue to grow.
It is not our intention to deceive anyone into thinking we are the same company as the early Araya. If we had wanted to it would have been very easy to introduce a 7X or a 7C rim of which there are many imitations floating around in the Far East. We are a team of dedicated UK based cycle enthusiasts and we are building a new reputation for Araya, based on top quality products at top value, direct to the public, prices.
